Topics — notes, events and reminders on one page.
Available now for iPhone. Download Topics from the App Store.
Topics is a local-first iPhone app that blends Markdown note-taking with your calendar. Write a rich note (a "Topic"), embed events and reminders inline as interactive pills, sync two-way with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, and keep everything one glance away with the home-screen widget.
Topics requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later.
Notes that carry your schedule
- Write rich Markdown notes with headings and attachments.
- Drop an event or reminder directly into a note from the editor toolbar. It appears as a colour-coded pill you can tap to edit or complete.
- Pin the Topics you use most so they surface first in the list and on the widget.
- Export or share any Topic as Markdown, plain text or PDF.
Two-way calendar sync
Connect Google Calendar (through Google sign-in) or Apple Calendar (through the iOS calendar permission), and the events and reminders in your notes sync two-way with that calendar. You can connect up to two providers. Microsoft Outlook is not supported.
Topics works fully offline — create and edit everything with no connection, and changes sync automatically the next time you are online.
One glance away
Add the large home-screen widget to see your pinned Topics and upcoming events and reminders, and complete reminders right from the widget.
Private by default
Your data stays on your device and syncs privately through your own iCloud (Apple CloudKit) — no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Calendar data flows only between your iPhone and the provider you authorise, using that provider's official API.
