This notice describes what happens when you visit this website. It is short because the site does very little with your data.

Who operates this site

This website, www.basicapps.com.au, is operated by Sean Meehan, who publishes apps under the BasicApps name. For anything privacy-related, contact sjmeehan9@gmail.com.

What this site does not do

There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.
There are no forms, so the site does not ask you to enter personal details.
The site does not set cookies.
The site does not use local storage or any similar browser storage to track you.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on AWS Amplify. Like ordinary web hosting generally, serving pages produces routine access and security logs handled by AWS as part of operating the service. Those logs can include your IP address, browser user agent and the time of each request, and are retained under AWS’s standard practices.

These logs are used only for hosting, reliability, abuse prevention and security purposes. They are not used to analyse visitors or measure the site’s audience.

Analytics

In production, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and does not build profiles of your activity across other sites. It reports aggregate visits and page views — traffic measures, not counts of unique or identifiable people.

Preview versions of the site exclude analytics entirely.

Google Search Console

Google Search Console is used to understand how the site appears in Google search results. Ownership is verified through a DNS record, and Search Console adds no script, cookie or other tracker to the pages you visit.
